The ARISE Youth employment portal is a digital platform designed by the State Government to support job opportunities in both public service and the private sectors. It also serves as a job creation and wealth generation database as well as a pool for training, funding, and support for the youth to become employable.
You can access the portal by logging on to employment.akwaibomstate.gov.ng.
The portal features sections for job listings, candidate profiles, and application tracking, along with a help section and resources for registration and job applications.
The portal is open to unemployed or underemployed youth who are indigenes of Akwa Ibom State. Eligible candidates must provide: Proof of indigeneship (Certificate of Origin), National Identification Number (NIN) or Voter Identification Number (VIN), valid bank details and contact information, as well as educational qualifications, skills, and job preferences.
Registration and every capability on the portal is totally free of charge.
Registering on the portal does not guarantee immediate job placement or an automatic civil service position. Employment is based on available vacancies, candidate education, skills, and experiences available on the portal.
All employment opportunities listed on the portal are duly verified to eliminate scams and protect candidates. Employers are required to meet verification standards before they can post jobs, ensuring that only legitimate opportunities are advertised on the portal.
